i mean obviously they wont be hanging..theyll be tucked nicely under chassis...i barely want it to show the light even...just a light glow...i guess i have to see em too...might not be what im looking for...vcinsanity1523 said:they are kinda on the ricey side i mean but to each his own if you like them then go for it
SoSpicy said:i've got an orange undercar kit, and i like it, whether or not others think its ricey. as far as the law goes, it depends on your state. i live in florida and the law is red and blue are illegal. however, if u do get them i would suggest that u carry the invoice saying wut color they are because i have been stopped twice (by the same cop) cuz he thought they are red. i have avoided a ticket because i showed him the paper saying the lights are orange.
dude, please(attn) post pics of what your neons look like at night..i want do the same (i live in miami) so laws will be the same issue, thanks for the tip....what brand did you get? l.e.d.s?SoSpicy said:i've got an orange undercar kit, and i like it, whether or not others think its ricey. as far as the law goes, it depends on your state. i live in florida and the law is red and blue are illegal. however, if u do get them i would suggest that u carry the invoice saying wut color they are because i have been stopped twice (by the same cop) cuz he thought they are red. i have avoided a ticket because i showed him the paper saying the lights are orange.
sweeet(cool) ..ill check em when you post...do you have the l.e.d.'s? or the bulbs?dnett15 said:hey serg, i got orange neons on my spicy msp, ill try to take a picture tonight and post it tomm. night. i like them. and sospicy is right, ive been pulled over because the cop thought my neons were red, no ticket though he came to his senses so keep an invoice just to be safe
Hey man, where are you in Atlanta? Was wondering if you were the black msp I talked to the other day on peachtree pkwy? however it be, make sure you check out the GA section of the forum and get together with the rest of the guys sometime, most of us get together every thursday, other than that we try to do a large meet once a month. As for the lights it is no red and blue and also they can't be at the same level as the headlights, but if you are doing undercarriage that shouldn't be a problem. If you have any intentions of racing your car at an autox (which I highly recommend) then I highly recommend not doing the lights as I have seen a bulb break and drag behind the car nearly spearing several course workers. Or make it to where you could easily remove them if you wanted to race any.datoneguy said:just wondering hows everyones experience with neon lighting? im lookin into getting some myself. by the way... what is the law when it comes to neon lighting anyway.
yea i see it...that looks pretty str8, thnks for taking the pics homie...now are urs the L.E.D. bulbs or regular neon bulbs?dnett15 said:alright serg, i tried to take the pics, but they r crap, with the flash you cant really see the glow, without the flash you cant see anything either but ill put them up anyway
(rlaugh) ROFL! thats too great! good idea. i thought of that but the cops around here don't f*&^ around. they'll search you car just to find the switcher just to fine you a$$. gotta make the quota.yellowmsp035 said:i have the streetglow undercar kit that is 7 different colours becuase i couldnt decided which colour to get. i have all red interior lights and i usually have it on red under the car but if i ever get pulled over i switch it to yellow which is the next colour and they can never say anything becuase they can't prove it was red to begin with... its actually kind of fun to see their confused faces when their second look they see yellow and they sware they saw it red the first time... you just have to be careful they don't see you change it haha
they look good, only reason ill probly go with led is because ive seen em up close and the light really spreads out nicely...thanks again for the pics , laterzdnett15 said:they r the regular neon bulbs, LEDs r brighter but dont let the pics fool you, regular bulbs are plenty bright for me
