Hi all,
Hope someone can help me out..
Bought the Neo Ion SP unit as the *only* solution to connect my ipod with CD sound quality etc, When I was in the States (I live in Holland).
However, the stock radio/CD player does not appear to work like the US model. Had the garage connect the stuff, ipod is powered and the menu items appear on the ipod as they should. But the radio does not have a workable cd changer button, I cannot get to CD 6 etc as the manual describes. Pressing the CD button returns 'no disk', or plays the CD if there is one inside.
The CD changer button is hidden behind the panel, but we removed the panel, and pressing it has no effect whatsoever.
We even connected a Mazda 6 CD changer (this is a unit that stacks onto the radio like the single CD player). Now the CD changer button worked, to load more CDs. But no effect on the Neo Ion Ipod.
So my idea is that even though the radio has the plug to connect external devices, for some reason or other the signal from the ipod doesn't get through.
Ideas, anyone?
Thanks,
Maarten
