NEMOC Random BS Thread

4,500 might be a bit of a stretch.. that looks like what he wants. I'd say somewhere around 3k is fair.

I get to see it in person tomorrow...

Heading out to Canada at 6am tomorrow. Picking up my oldest and bringing her back home so she can get married. 20 hours of driving.

whats going on nepoc'ers , i got some snow flakes around my area .... guess snow is here already :)

FWD sucks w/o winter tires :(

Weekend ticket, not corral ticket. I believe there is a difference.

There is a difference but you only need a corral ticket if you have your car. Extra people per car can go with the weekend tickets. Pretty sure it lets cars in too, though I'm not sure on that, just no parade lap or Mazda perks.

never had a lot of real probs...first time on 4 snows in 8 yrs with the p5 this winter...maybe i'll see the big difference...?

-_- Front driver-side wheel on my truck is grinding like a pepper grinder...finally got loud/severe enough this morning to make me turn around on my way to work and grab the rx8. ....but the rx8 wouldn't start. I'm hoping it's flooded (somehow). I haven't driven it in a while. Been at it for over 20 mins (came inside to warm my hands up lol). Absolutely no signs of wanting to start...no spits, no sputters, just turning rotors.

Bah Tautochrone, hope she starts up! Push start?

Just ran 5 miles in 21 degrees. Got warm clothes and snow tires. Bring on the snow.

Nah, finally got it started about 15 mins after the post. Someone in my family must have moved my car without me noticing, it was flooded like the Bangladesh in monsoon season.

After I got the 8 running I tackled the grinding wheel on my truck. Took the hub assembly off and a pile of metal shavings dumped out of the inside of it....blown bearing. Tried to remove the two bearing assemblies inside the hub but the C-clamp thingy was hopelessly rusted in there so I just ran to Autozone and bought a whole new hub for 80 bucks. Had everything back together in about 30 mins, working great.

Stupid winter! It's not fun unless there's 2 feet of snow on the ground! Hurry up snow!

Thanks Mark. Still working on that one

Lake effect snow was full blown past Syracuse on 90. Picked up my daughter and will be back tomorrow hopefully.
