Not sure yet... I do have winter tires for the 8 if I want to drive it in the winter. I'm looking at getting another car but I'm not sure what I want yet. Kinda looks like I'm leaning towards an Impreza or a Jeep Wrangler TJ.

I'd actually been thinking about it for a few weeks.. about the time I finally got an AP lol. There's absolutely nothing wrong with the car, I just feel like it's time to move on. Kinda fell out of love with it.

unless you are going mudding, don't get a wrangler.

they handle like a 1950's refrigerator, aren't terribly comfortable, are very loud, get awful mileage, slooooooow, and the convertible tops are a work of pure inspired evil.

Yes you can ride around with no doors and they are fun off road, but if you aren't off roading, there isn't much point.

If you are looking for a daily driver with some pep, go WRX/Impreza.

Lol you hit my dilemma on the head.... I will go mudding and do some moderate off roading.. but it gets bad gas mileage, isn't comfortable, and I'll likely have trouble with the top. BUT, if I get an Impreza, I'm going to end up modding the crap out of it....

Impreza would be smarter... but I know I can't stay away from the mod bug with that kind of car...

yeah.. you just have to figure out exactly how much mudding you want to do, and if it is worth putting up with the other stuff daily driver wise.

you'd mod the jeep too.. don't pretend like you wouldn't.

also, if you finance the jeep, you probably wouldn't want to mud in it until it is paid off.. just in case the worst happens..

FWIW, an FJ cruiser (while a bit ugly) is a VERY capable off-roader.. it is also a lot more civilized for daily driving.

I still really want an MS6... but to get one, the P5, Civic, and MSM would have to go. The only way I'm letting go of the MSM is for an RX8. I already told myself that.
