The missing emblems could mean it was rear-ended. Even if the carfax is clean, look over the paint. Inspect between the rear door and rear quarter panel as well as rear quarter and rear bumper. Have a look underneath to see if a new exhaust has been installed from the axel back.
Keep in mind that carfax may not have the most up-to-date information available. If the car was recently in an accident, it might not show up on the report yet.
At the price they are asking, expecially considering it has navigation, i'd be blowing the too-good-to-be-true whistle. But I could be wrong...in any case, haggle for the best price and make sure they throw in the 30k maintenance.

i just checked the guide.. its says new in the information section.. maybe its "new" for discovery to air the documentry.. thanks guys for the comments..

So I called the dealership on that car. They pulled up the carfax while I was on the phone. Told me it had been in a minor rear ender. No salvage title. The guy who traded it in was up front with them and told them that he had been rear ended but it only needed a new rear bumper and trunk. He told them the frame was fine, no other damage....but I dunno it sounds fishy!

well when anything gets into an accident the price drops like crazy, would they let you get your own mechanic to bring it to his shop for a full inspection or something like that?.. worth the money..

ya tony...you wanna be looking at all the seams, welds, undercarraige..paint matching...find out how much filler they may have used, look in the trunk...you'll be able to tell real quick how much damage and whether or not the repair work done was A1! josh would be able to help you!
