NEMOC Random BS Thread

good morning (still morn i think?) spending the day tomorrow out in the yard, last mow, trim the bushes, rake the leaves, put stabil in the rider, close up mu mom's apartment, get my motorcycle in the basement, put out the snow poles for the plow (so he doesn't rip up my grass), pick up the kids at the airport, go to the transfer station.....i'm pooped just writing all this!
oh, might be applying for a position in charlotte too! we'll see....

Nice Mark. Did the leaves today. Went to run some errands and I'm in a parking lot, stopped, looking for a place to park and a woman backs out and smacks my car with her spare. Of course no damage to her car. She apologized and said that she wasn't looking behind her.. Will have to wait till Monday for insurance hassle.

Pulled the wheel off and banged out the fender and loosened the bolts so I could pull it out from the hood. At least it's drivable.

Edit: At least it happened now and not in the summer...or a week before Limerock

Edit2: If I hit a car like that I'd be mortified.

:( Bruce. Parking lots scary me the most. Especially small & tight spaced lots full of large SUVs. And what is with people parking right next to you when you park way far away from all other cars? As in there are 3-4 open spaces all around you but they have a need to park directly next to you.

Yes was pretty pissed. At least she was going slow. Could have been a lot worse, especially if I had been moving.

Might be AutoXing tomorrow in RI.

Just finished blowing the leaves off my lawn, now for a nice relaxing day off....yep thats right, yet another sat off....I could really get used to this.....might have to start job hunting....
 
Wow Bruce.. I'm sorry to hear about it.

Well I have my apartment set up, the Miata is here, and I've been driving it mostly unless I need the 6 for shopping. The weather has been pretty nice to me for the few days I've been here. The apartment place also has detached garages that I can rent on a month-to-month basis to put the Miata in during the worst of the winter weather here. My apartment is about .5 miles from the office. I don't know yet if I will try to bike to work or just walk if the weather is nice.

I've already found a nice bar/pub that has over 150 bottles of beer from everywhere and over 30 different beers on tap. For those Ohio people, they have a similar deal like the Winking Lizard on beers.

well, got all my yard work done, wanted to wash the cars but to tired...
 
Same here Mark. All yard work today. Helped Mary clean her car for a bit and washed my Work wheels before putting into basement.
