So remember the talk about sump pumps and how I said I didnt need mine anymore? Well guess what, WE ARE TAKING ON WATER!!! My perimiter drains that lead out to the back of my yard were CLOGGGGGEEEEDDDD!! So I was just outside with a hose and was pushing it through the pipe to clear it out. FUN!!! Time for some Twisted Tea and vodka!
Tell me about it, mine's been on jack stands for over a week now.

Chris, when they put in the new carpet make sure they get everything COMPLETELY dry before the new stuff goes down. Put some fans out if you have to. Last thing you want is mold growing in the new carpet (or the sub-floor).
I've been on mold inspection jobs where offices have been flooded and they just "rip-n-layed" without drying properly and their new carpet was loaded with mold.
What about your walls? Are they going to replace the bottom ~3 inches of your sheetrock as well? They should...it's flood damage and no matter how much you dry out sheetrock you'll have problems down the road (either mold growth or soft spots/holes)
Actually, the carpet is ripped up, pad is gone, and they have a floor air dryer (big fan) ready. The floor is concrete because most of my apartment is underground.
Also, if that does happen can you come inspect my place to say it's unfit to live in? lolol (nana)
lookin' good gary!
