OMG! Insane Rotary Powered BMW Drag Car.

shiny-drag-car-491.jpg

Ok this drag car is just insane before you laugh at he chrome and gold, and tv's inside the car, this thing actually performs and lays down some pretty good times on the track. The car is said to be sporting a quad rotary setup and producing over 1664hp, and quarter mile in less than 7 sec.

Also check out the RX-8 in the back with the huge bling bling wheels. Bleh!

Very creative!

I am so glad stand down has started. We put the entire student population on leave (vacation for you normal people) yesterday. We had over 700+ students to check out. There were tons of errors in paperwork from paperwork getting lost, and the usual hassles of people asking to take leave THE DAY stand down starts. I'm just glad it's over with for the next two weeks.

On a side note.... Today is my on call day and it should be pretty smooth for the whole day. I have already told my chain of command that if I get a phone call to take a student to the airport because they don't have a ride, I'm not doing it. Funny thing is they backed me up on that one.

p.s. Let it snow, let it snow, LET IT SNOW!!

It can snow on Saturday... but no Snow on Wed and no snow on the following Monday...

Taking the 3 allllll the way to DETROIT!

So Mr. Weatherman... Is it a bad idea to go to NYC tomorrow??

You either won't make it there...or won't make it back. They're looking at 12"+ with near blizzard conditions (35+ mph winds, whiteout conditions).

Edit: This is Saturday afternoon --> Sunday Morning so if you're going down there early enough to get back by Saturday evening you should be OK

Holy crap, Josh. You're making me want this camera more and more.

Honestly if your not going to be deep into photography as I am there are models that have almost the same features at a more affordable cost. This is my first DSLR camera, coming from a 5 year old point n shoot. Unless of course you are a photog like myself and love to play with ISO, aperture, and shutter speeds. ;)

A saad day for Saab enthusiasts...

Well there's a surprise. LOL!

One more video.....this is truly an amazing piece of video production.

happy friday, but I think I'm starting to catch a cold.

Thanks! (in your face Josh!). Rhose Island to Cape Cod just got updated to Blizzard Watches...I'm sure they'll be Blizzard Warnings tomorrow. 8-12" of snow, 35mph winds, gusts to 50mph.

Good luck all you SE Mass people.

@Josh and the camera thing: That's the thing, I've always wanted to get into photography and I'm finally in the position to get into it and I figured I might as well dive in head first since I've got the extra cash flow at the moment.

...besides...if I don't get it then your pictures will always look better than mine (wiggle)

Enough with the weather reports! Everyone can check weather.com if they wish. (blarf)

As Josh said Happy Friday!

Holiday Happy Hour for co-workers and friends, should be a good time tonight. (2thumbs)

Hehe...they will always be better. j/k! Just remember it's not the camera that makes a photo, but rather the creativeness, skill and technique. I'm actually happy I did not start with a SLR. It forced me to learn the creative side of photography rather then spend all the money on equipment. Trust me, I've been doing this for a long time. Although if you have money to burn then go for it. Just some friendly advice from the old guy.

Here's a sampling of what you can do with a 5 year old PNS. http://www.altspace.com/photography/index.html
