That road is like 15 minutes from my parents house. I'd say it was a nice road, but people drive on it at 15 mph thinking that they're gonna go off the edge. It takes all the fun out of it. Not to mention the many, many deer I've almost had as a permanent hood ornament on my car on that road.

well maybe people go slow because of the deer ;)

Just got home from a great ride with the Luna Chix...the ones I rode with do race as well...so they were going easy, I was just happy to stay on the wheel. Worked on drafting the whole way...got my assed kicked on some climbs...I need to work on climbing a lot more.

21.39 miles in 1:20:00 16mph avg, max 32.9

Anyone here good at exhaust work? I just recently had a muffler replaced on my Mazdaspeed exhaust, but I replaced it with a Magnaflow... I apparently didn't get the exact same part number, because my exhaust is louder now. So, I'm thinking of getting a glass-pack to quiet it down. Would anyone be able to help me install it? Does anyone weld? I'm just trying to save some money... I can get the glass-pack for like $30, but I think it would cost about $100 to install.

Was reading the local Nashua paper this morning and came across this place. Just opened in August. Took a drive done and talked to Jerry. Nice clean place, tools, 3 car lifts, may use this place when I need a lift.

interesting, I always wondered if such places existed. Though $30/hr then $20/hr is a bit more than I'd typically be willing to pay.

True but for once and awhile use, it's not bad.

AHey, how are you feeling? How's the knee?

Yeah...uh...I'll pass...too expensive. I'm sure I can find friends with a lift to use, if I really need to. Or jackstands in Mark's garage, whatever works.

Bruce: feeling great. Last night's ride I actually forgot my bike shoes, so I was working overtime, not only keeping pace but keeping the feet in position on the bike, but at the end of the ride I felt like I had a great workout. Slower and I would've wanted to ride more...faster and I wouldn't have been the 2nd person all night. Drafting ftmfw.

Knee seems to be ok...I've been making sure to take it easier on climbs (pedal more, sit and spin). Sun was 61 miles, last night was 20 miles, and tomorrow morning I think I'm going to do either 30 or 50.

There's also the Nashua River Ramble ride on Sunday that I might do...gonna be in Boston till late tomorrow night so we'll see. I've heard the long route is hilly...must...work...on...climbing.
