Needed: OEM Speaker mounting hole distances and overall (actual) speaker dimensions

Long story short, a 3 owner saw some 3/4" PVC speaker spacers/adapters that I made for my own car (2011 WRX) and posted about my build blog. They contacted me and asked me if I'd make them a pair for their 3.

I found a template for some speaker adapters to allow a 6.5" speaker to be mounted in the doors. I was able to download and print the template at "actual size" or "100%" scaling, but before I go cutting the material, I'd like confirmation from anyone who has their stock speaker sitting aroud and would be willing to double-check my scaling.

The template is here: http://www.torontomazda3.ca/forum/showthread.php?27784-How-To-6x8-to-6-5-speaker-adapter-template

My spacers look like this:

Obviously, it would be better if I got these right the first time, so I want to confirm that my scale is corrrect.

When printed, I got the following dimensions:

Overall:
End-to-end (logest distance): 8 1/8"
Top-to-bottom (shorter dimension): 5 3/4"

Mounting holes:
Between holes on the long axis: 4 3/16"
Between holes on the sorter axis: 4 15/16"
Diagonal: 6 15/32"

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I will measure my Blose that I just took out in front of door. You could also screw in some drywall screws from back side of door just enough to stick out and then "dent" the MDF where the holes need to be with the screw head points.

those measurements are correct( or within 1/32" due to 3 of the 4 holes being oval from factory)

I actually use PVC for the spacers, not MDF. MDF has too many issues with rotting/warping/cracking/molding.

I got the spacers made and shipped out to the guy who requested them. If they work well, maybe I'll look to make more of them.

Those were Focal speakers.
