Need your help for Sparco seats

Hello to all.

I have contacted Sparco about the possible production of Torino seats using the Mazdaspeed fabric. I need all of you who are interested in this project to do two things:

1. Contact Sparco (www.sparcousa.com) and inform them that you own a 2003 Mazdaspeed and that you want them to produce the Torino seat using the Mazdaspeed fabrics and pattern.

2. Write back to this post saying if you would buy a seat if such a seat was produced by Sparco.

Also, any other ideas about how to get this done (I think if we bug them enough, they might do it). Thanks all.

You would have to buy tracks for the seats.

I'm asking Sparco to do this to keep the "theme" of the car in line.

That would be cool for you MSP guys...However, just so you know, 2 Sparco Torinos + the seat bases + the seat sliders and rails will set you back $1571.00 on top of what you may have to pay for the custom job.

Yep - check the vwvortex A2 classified boards and get a front pair for $300, $200 if they're moderately used. Get'em reupholstered, or DIY if you're really good. Unbolt them from the stock VW frames, weld up a set (or buy 'em), and you're golden. They might not look like Sparcos, but they'd be Recaros...

That said, a front pair of Sparcos in matching fabric would be outstanding.... what's that address again?

Why not just get the black center and grey outer torinos they match the scheme perfectly I dont know why you would want to get any closer than that?I already have mine ordered

Well the seats are really the only thing about the car I dont like...but I'm cheap.
I want all my hard earned $$$ to go to perf and suspension mods...not seats.
Im going to go to a junkyard and try to find some seats with better bolstering...hell maybe I could get some specV seats cheap..the 03s should be pretty close (silver/black mesh)...but then my beautifal stitching would be gone
decisions decisions...

I'll probably just wait it out and once im satisfied with the perf, then get some seats that will actually hold me in place.

The Torino's from Sparco don't even come close to matching the interior of the MSP. For the seats to look creditable, you need them to match, not come close.

Please email Sparco, this would be the perfect finishing touch to the MSP.

Why in the hell would you want to take a good seat like the Torinos and cover it in that cheap material that comes in the MSP. Sorry guys love the car but hate the seat material. Reminds me of the 70's and 80's of the knit shirts over t shirts. You know like a football jersey material. I just think i would snag it all the time. Plus I like the guys Idea above about getting them in the black and grey. Even better get them in the black and grey suede (alacantra) so that way it truely is an upgrade. Hey if you are going to spend the money then spend it wisely. Hate to burt a bubble, but just my opinion.

Because it would complete the "boy racer" theme that the car has going on. I happen to like the materials/fabric that Mazda used for the Speed, it makes the car unique.
