i just got a set of 18x7.5" quantum tek s15 wheels. they look huge, any way they came in silver and i was thinking about having them powdercoated black. i have the c/f front lip and a c/f hood on the way. do you all think i should keep them silver or powdercoat them black.

this is what they look like

I'm not big black wheel fan either, but that is all personal preference. I like the way those look out of the box. 18's should look great on your car.

they are an 18" wheel but if you measure the face of the wheel it is 19.5 ". it looks huge

I got Black and love them!

Black is something that will grow on you the more you look at it, just like a music CD you may not like it at first, but the more you listen the more you like.

I put black rims on my girlfriends civic and now two years later I put some on my P5.

anyoen else powder coat their wheels? how does it look and how does it hold up?

My girlfriends rims are powdercoated black, and yes it holds up good. But is you curb check them, you will notice the thickness of the powdercoat, you can color the chips with a sharpie!

I am in the process of repainting them at my work, Luckely we have 6 of her rims and they are discontinued!

But yes powdercoat is very good, and strong!
