I have an MP3 with 49k miles and i have a clicking sound coming from my engine or transmission. It starts at about 2300 rpm and continues on through the rpm range. When sitting in the drivers seat, it sounds like it is coming from the passenger side floor board, where the passengers put their feet. If I am accelerating or holding the gas pedal at a constant setting it happens, but when i let off the gas, it stops until I press the gas again. It can be heard outside the car quite noticeably because I have gotten my girlfriend to drive my car by me and it is unmistakeable. I bought the car used and it used to have a turbo on it. It currnetly has AWR front and rear motor mounts (manual style), ACT clutch kit, & a B&M short shifter. I have done some research and have not really found any similar threads. As I searched through them I found that the people on this forum are very willing to help and seem to be knowledgeable. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
