Hi all,

I'm looking to invest in a recumbant stationary bike. I have back problems and my doc recommended I use this as part of my exercise routine. Any suggestions about which bike and where to buy? Thanks in advance.

Michael

I have a Pro Form recumbant bike collecting dust in my basement. It bought it and then moved into a smaller place with no room to use it so it hasn't been used in a few years. I think I paid about $350-400 for it 3 years ago and used it about 10 times

I will give you a good deal on it, but you would have to drive the 3-4 hours north to Green Bay to pick it up

I'll take some pics if you are interested

Thanks man. Had this been a few months back, it would have been no problem driving up to Green Bay. My wife is pregnant and she's been having some complications as of late, so I'd like to stick around seeing that her family is in New York. I prefer not to leave her alone for so long. Thanks for the offer though - sounds like a great deal.

I use a Stamina 4700r four times a week it has great comfort and has magnetic resistance. I got it from Walmart for a 100 bucks.

Rapid Transit speciializes in recumbants:

They're probably about 2-3 miles from you; they'd be able to help you out with proper selection and sizing it to your needs and fit.

edit: I just saw you wanted a stationary bike..you may be able to get an idea there...but stationary is boring :D
