.. I was gonna post in the Appearance section, but figured more peeps would come across the thread if I just made it in here.

Anyhoo, I've been debating with myself -- tryin' to figure out what to do about my lower front grill mesh. Not the CF grill mesh area -- but the mesh that sits in front of my FMIC. I've seen some people that have removed the mesh to make the FMIC really stand out, and I'm tempted to try the idea to see how it looks on my MSP.

So what do you guys think? Should I keep the grill mesh on as it is now, and keep with the 'subtle' look; or should I pull out the mesh so that the FMIC is staring everyone in the face?

Keep it on, I like the subtle look. :) Yours is the first one I've seen with the grill in place.

its pretty damn noticable as it is now. but heres a titanium without the grill. looks pimp too.

I have no grill and the FMIC stays lookin' fine... even through winter. No bent fins.

i say:
remove the mesh
cut/sand down the four corner tabs
cut/sand down the 3 plastic center pieces
and polish the fmic

very niceeeee

Driving in Atlanta without a lower grill is a bad idea. Sooner or later you are goign to hit something (rock, tire, 2x4, hammer,...). But i don't nkow if it is the same where u live.

Remove the grill and replace with a much finer grill. The problem with going grilless is that the fins of the intercooler will get dented to hell from rocks and such.
