Need some info

Alright fellas. Time to lend your expertise. I was looking to get a set of rims for my MP5. Im looking at these rims in an 18 inch http://www.wheelmax.com/Wheels/Giovanna/saporrohb.gif
So I talked to a guy from wheelmax and said that I HAD to run 215/35/18. I wanted to run 215/40/18 Yokohamas. Does anyone else have 215/40/18 on there MP5 without fender modifications. He also wanted to sell me tires call Ventus h405 or something. Anyone have theses tires? Also, if I have to go 215/40's, does anyone have a real problem with how thin the tires are?

pretty sure there is not a 215/40/18 size....i think 225/40 is the next size up from 215/35, but i could be wrong. i am running 215/35s' but my roads around here are pretty smooth. if you order 18s just make sure they have a +48 offset if it is a 7.5 inch wide rim. mine work good and no rubbing with a 2" drop. when i called wheelmax looking for rims, they had NO 18s with a +48 offset. good luck
