Hey everyone...I have basically just put together my FM Custom Turbo Kit!

But i really Need some help..I have no garage..and barely any tools needed to do this install!

Wondering..If anyone in NJ/PA..Can help me out!!

I don't have any $$$ to get this bad boy installed...So i am forced to do this myself!

I need to have atleast 1 person who has already installed a turbo kit!

I would prefer to start this project on the weekend..b/c most people have off...and we can get more people!

Chas

Well the tubing is not an exact fit..i have 2 U Bends + allot of extra tubing..that need to be cut..So i guess i will need a SawzAll..Or something...

Also..Need someone who has a weld or something..B/c the downpipe..will need to be welded directly to the stock exhaust..

Chas

a cut off saw would be key. What is the material of the U bends? I though you were having MPNICK do the install??

I wish i had some free time, i would love to come and give you a hand. I dont even have time to work on my own car.

damn chaz i wish i could help, i know youve been shafted lately. if you find someone that lives on an army installation, you should be able to go there and they could get you into the car craft center, which has every tool in existence to tear apart and rebuild your entire car, plus a full lift bay for about 4 bucks. you may have to drive somewhere like NC, but it would say thats worth it to hang out with some fellow members and not pay for labor :D

Bump..Nope i am trying to get nick/perfworks..to help me install..

you dont have the $$ to have someone else do the welding? It couldnt be to much since you are non intercooled.

Hey Chas
I left a message on your voicemail I work weekends but I'll be off this tuesday and I can give you a hand or give you some pointers on some things. It's hard to try to install the kit on a weekend with a welding machine . Is your kit intercool cause if so you must take your front bumper off to mount it and it take time.

Chas give me a call. Henry

a cut off saw? are you talking about the hand held gas powered saws? if so that wouldn't be the best idea. the best idea would be the table based ones that run on electric. they are used for fine wood work b/c the exact cut they give.

acid if you mark out where you need the pipes cut i can do them. ;)

Hey chaz if you want to drive to MD i can do it for ya. But you would need to come really early so i we need to get anything welded we can. Holla back.

Thanks for the Input Guys..

about the saw..yeah..any elctric one should work...

Serpentkilla..Thanks for the Offer..But MD is a little to farr for me..IT's like 6-8hrs..away..which would mean i would have to sleep down there..not to mention..the $$$ for gas and tolls and such..But thanks..none the less!

About the Intercooler..I do have one..But i have been told it's not neccessary during the winter..if i run low boost!

So i am postponning the intercooler..till spring...

Henry...I accidently deleted your voicemail..and coulnd't find your number..Can you please email it to me! Tuesday..is not looking very good for me..How's next weekend.. 11/7-11/9th...

I meant a chop saw with a carburunium(sp) blade. This works great fof cutting steel/piping.

Agree! I need to buy me one of those. . .for now I'll just deal with a cutting wheel and my air compressor.

Sorry to hear about the install problems. I'd help a brother out, but I'm a little to far away. I think it can be done in a weekend no problem, but you need a welder. . .and that I am not.
