Hey guys, I have a chance to trade my P5 for a yellow Speed... should I or should I put a hiboost on my P5?

Thanks!

I want the speed because it has what I want.. turbo, upgraded suspension, better than stock stereo system.. good wheels...

I like my 5, but I want more HP...

If you dont know about mechanics then I would say go with the MSP. If something breaks its all under warranty, unlike with a Hiboosted P5. Everything from the rims to suspension to exhaust to sound system are covered. Thing that otherwise would be a drain financially to buy and cover repair costs on later if something breaks.

Good points so far, I would say trade. For the same reasons everyone else has said so far plus the fact that msp's are limited.

Get, the MSP. Boost the snot out of it and dump it and it'll run with a stock LS1 Fbody. Dont ask me how I know. It'll make you giggle like a school girl and grin ear to ear.

get a MSP.....limited production...great looks...when people ask how good your car looks..tell him its stock..hehhe...i love seing peoples jaw and eyes pop out when i say that...hehe

Its almost an even trade...

I know mechanics, I have worked on my own cars and motorcycles when I used to race motocross.. So I know I could install a turbo kit..

But, when I drove the msp yesterday, I was all smiles.. And that was stock..

I didn't notice much of a difference between the Speed and P5. It pulled a little harder after 5,000rpm, thats about it. It seemed to handle a little better, but it felt like it was because the tires were wider. Iono....just not that impressed with the MSP...

At the dealer where I got my P5 and where the msp is.. there is a route that has lots of twisties... The MSP handles them better than the P5, and its def faster.. but the speed part is not all I am looking at..

The speed has a much better sound system than my 5... it handles better, its a limited edition car.. has way better tires.. I hate the stock dunlop tires...

Well, it depends how much negative equity you're going to have. Then take that amount, and think about what you could do to make the P5 a better car in the first place.

For the money, I think there are just alot of better cars than the MSP's. Preludes, GSR's, SI's, GSX's...all have alot more aftermarket, cheaper and don't have the shadey reliability of the MSP. But I know how it goes, once you want a certain car, you gotta have it.

My thing is, to make my P5 like a speed.. I would spend almost triple what I am going to on the trade.. I have very little negative equity in my 5...

I hear ya on the other cars.. Right now I want to stay in the Mazda family..
