Need new breaks..

So I need new breaks and rotors and want to know what everyone gets. And where do you get them, funds are tight since I am saving for some big upgrades.

Stock replacement rotors with Hawk HPS pads. done.

you dont gain any performance going with a cross drilled slotted whatever, so why pay more for them?

Stock replacements are fine, but pricey. I went with Brembo rotors and RedStuff reds pads. They were a little noisy at the beginning but now they are perfect. The pads grip slightly more than stock pads. I agree with njaremka, you'll pay much more for cross drilled / slotted when you would only see benefits on a track. Montgomery Mazda has stock replacements online, but shipping can cost you depending on where you are. You can find aftermarket brakes pretty much everywhere on the net (RPM store, trispoint, etc).

i was more saying to get the regular smooth face rotors, as opposed to cross drilled or slotted. the cheap rotors are just as good as anything else, and it wont bother you as much to replace them every time you do your brakes since they dont cost so much.
