Blue MP3/06 MPV
I've been looking for an MP3 for over a year now. My car is being sold very soon, so I need to make a decision.

I like the appeal of buying a high mile/low price MP3, so that I can afford to modify the way I want. What are some issues that I need to look out for after 100,000 mi? Or should I just fork over the extra money and buy one with 47K mi? There are two on autotrader.com I'm looking into if anyone wants to check there and give feedback. One in FL, 47k mi, 9500, or MO, 100k mi, 6000.

i have 1 here in kansas i owe 12 ill pay the 2g and u can take it for 10 i know its a bit much on the price. its got 60kmiles on it and its in predy good shape.
or u could take over the payments and ill give u 1000cash right now im paying 257 a mounth for 5 years just let me know im willing to work with you.

well if you're going to build the block, i would go with the 100k miles one. but if you're not gonna do too many major mods, i would go with the lower mileage, just for reliability sake.

you might want to look into msp's, some can be had for your price, or a little above that price.

just my opinion though...

I thought about the MSP, but I like the front fascia and rear wing on the MP3 better. Also, I don't have to put "TURBO" on the insurance with the MP3. My main reason for switching cars is the color. If painting wasn't so expensive I'd keep my ES.

I've bargained with the guy in FL and got it down to 8700. If I can get the 100k mi one for 5000 or lower, than I think I'll go that route. I can build a block on the side and get a turbo kit for it as well, while still having a car to drive. I was just wondering if anyone knows problems to watch out for after 100k mi. I've read that I should change the water pump along with the timing belt at 80k-100k.

Anybody know the going rate for an MSP turbo kit? I really want the HI Boost, but that's quite a bit of cash.

Thanks

I just bought a blue MP3 with 44K for only 8000. I had to drive it from Boston to Cincinnati, but I got a good deal. Only problem with the car is that the clutch is starting to slip ;(

A stock MSP turbo kit should sell in the range of $1000 to $1300(on the safe side).

Are you the one that snagged the MP3 on ebay? The car was listed in here too.

Yeah, it was listed by ChromeZen on ebay and in the classifieds on here.
