need help

I just finished installing new a new head on my cx7, when trying to start it will sound like it will run but then dies.. we double checked all connections.. we put a new timing chain, vvt actuator, chain guides, chain tensionner, ocv when we changed the head.. i read the codes on the computer it came up with P2088 and p0091.. any ideas am i missing something.. pretty sure that it should still start with these 2 codes up..

ok have since double checked all connection, timing, etc.... I was about to give up and send it to mazda, so put everything back on that wasnt already reinstalled, then decided to try to start it... it ended up running but ran horribly and only for about 10 seconds or so... we noticed the high pressure fuel pump was making noise.. and an air leak from the wastegate(since someone misplaced the oring) need to know if the high pressure fuel pump can be installed incorrectly or will it only go on one way? could the car be in limp mode after swapping the head making run poorly and need to be flashed at dealer? its not throwing any codes right now
