I have finally done my first mods. This weekend I installed an Apexi tt and Aem bc. I have both hooked up, but not completely. The tt has a o2 wire that moniters AF. Does anyone have this connected on their ms3? I am not sure where I should splice it in to. I was thinking the second o2. The boost gauge is not hooked up to the waste gate yet. I am waiting for my cai. So it is just being used as a gauge. I cannot wait t(eekdance)o unleash this animal.

if its looking for a narrow band A/F signal that would be your second 02 sensor. And its the black wire guagranteed. Have my narrowband A/F ratio gauge hooked up and works pretty good for a narrowband.

whatever that narrow band may do. i heard ac/dc uses a half a million narrow band gauges to light their shows. fun fact. chew on it a bit. jk. get a wideband so you can see something worth your while though. seriously.......half a million.

Not to jack the thread but, your right the narrow band gauge is worthless other than filling the hole in my pod and reading rich when i touch the gas and lean when im not. Does a wideband Gauge require us to get a different 02 sensor or can that be hooked straight into the 1st 02 sensor which i heard was wideband.

no you can run it from the stock o2. the one in the dp is already a wideband so your good to go. just buy one and youll be set.

To answer your question...cause apparently these guys don't like answering questions.
Hook yourself up to the Rear 02 Sensor wire from the ECU.
It's a white wire and using the ECU diagram I just attached, it's labelled as 2Q.

Your ECU is located in your engine compartment to the left of your battery.
Also, the black ground wire on your Apexi TT should be attached to a ground on the ECU that is Black (like 2H).. but NOT the brown Rear O2 Sensor Ground.

Also note that once hooked up and you start your car.. you have to drive around a bit to allow your O2 Sensor to heat up before getting any AF ratio readings. So don't be discouraged if you start up your car and it looks like it's not showing anything.

LOL, thats not really an airfuel gauge dude. its 100% useless. it just moniters your 02 sensor voltage and then estimates. its really pointless. just use it as a TT only.

Oh I know that... I know it's useless as an AF gauge... you're better off welding in a wideband and running off that.. but the original poster asked how to hook up his Apexi TT to the O2 sensor... and I answered it.

i love the fact that dh monitors a/f from the stock wideband.
i'm curious to know why a tt has an o2 wire...that's kind of odd. what is the purpose?

Using the O2 AF as a history, you can set it to determine the cooldown time based on how much you used it.
