whats up guys well right now im in boston but i live in central america. and i got a ms3 so i want to get the car all the way to my town.. where i live theres not to much ms3 i have only seen like 1 or 2. and right here theres not to much guys that know about ecu reflash and all that and where i live they dont sell the ms3. but theres a lot of si, evo,sti .etc etc.so im planning on getting mods to my ms3 before i get the car to my town. so i want some mods that doesnt need a reflash or get a CEL. so my mods are these so far if you can help me .. i would aprecciate it ..

greddy cbe
turbo inlet pipe
injen cai
SU motor mount.

thats all i have.. i have seen a catted downpipe if im correct that doesnt trigger a CEL right
what brand are of catted downpipe for my ms3..

thanks

ohh yeah i almost forgot my cousins friend has a civic si with intake, header, exhaust with flashpro i think hes making 225 to the wheels.. and im stock u think i can beat him in a roll and a dig..

Check my pm to you.

I think you are headed in the wrong direction with your mods. Yes, on a good intake, yes on the rmm (although I'm still on the stocker at almost 40,000 miles with no trouble). There are better, more common and cheaper intake choices over the Injen, although it will get the job done.

Your other ideas will not make power. There are better ways to spend your money if you are wanting to beat that Civic, which is 200 pounds lighter than you. Because of his weight advantage you need to add about 30 more horses to beat him, IMHO. If he's underestimating his power, you'll need more.

Im having trouble picturing a civic Si making 225 to the wheels with just the mods listed. Not to mention that 225 comes on around 7500 RPM, which means youd have enough head start to make it close.

If he wants to race, the Civic SI probably lying about his mods. But I understand what you are saying about those listed mods not adding up to quite 225 whp, although that depends on the dyno and operator! Still OP needs more than an intake to be sure he can pull away and stay in front.
