Hay Guys,

i have 23000 k on it, oil change every 3500k, only redline oil used. no mods yet except tint.

looking forward to find
1) dual pipe exost (like neon exoxt)
2) projected head lights or HID conversion for my regular ones
3) good and cheap intake
4) good quality crossdrilled slotted roters and dual piston calipers
5) after market hi-powered fog/driving light (i hate the original one its not bright enough)

Hey.. good to see yet another MP3 from Toronto!
That makes maybe three on here now ... :)

I have the clunk too but haven't taken it in to be looked at yet as so many other people say it just comes back anyway.

I'm at around 27,000 Kms at the moment... due for another oil change (but I go with Mobil1). Next on the list is upgrade tranny and brake fluids to Motul.

My P5 made a squeak .. apparently it can be fixed by re-lubricatnig some of the bits but it is inherent in the suspension design. But the MP3 it is the struts that make bad noises when cold, not just the same little high-pitched squeak from my P5.

I have to laugh everytime I go over speedbumps within 10 mins of starting to drive.

Man it nice to see u in here,
ne ways there is a recal on bushings thats why they changed it for me. since there is no one else go to scarboro Mazda they aiint intrested in looking in to the problem. if you could just drop by and complain to them or get urs fixed at their place then they will know and have an intrest in it . Well, since they havent seen any other mp3s yet i dont wanna blame them too u know. I gave them the new part number and waitiing to hear from them.

Haven't been to Scarboro Mazda .. I'll be taking it to Downtown Mazda or Avante in Richmond Hill. Convenience...

It seems the Mazdaspeed Proteges might end up with the same problem as us so there's hope yet!

If you have the problem with the clunk please take it to the dealer and complain. The reason why they aren't putting too much effort into fixing it is because the think that only a very small percentage of the mp3's have it. They only think this because some people just don't bring it in and say FIX IT!

Please being the car in and complain. Help out your fellow MP3'ers.

I used to grind gears. You should change your tranny fluid to Redline Superlightweight Shock Proof Tranny fluid. It looks like popcorn butter. I don't grind anymore unless I get to giddy and release the clutch too early.

Yeah I hear you on that tranny grind. I had the same problem, told the service writers at work and they looked at me stupid. And it finally happened last night on the way home, my transmission is gone.
