You're talking about front upper strut mounts? DX mounts have a rubber bushing so you probably got the wrong part at the dealership.

Mazda used stiffer bushings to match the increased spring/damping rates of the MSP. Therefore it's adviseable to do the same when uprating stock Protege suspension. The DX mounts aren't up to the task. At $47 for each MSP mount, it's not much of an investment.

between the axr clunk fix or the delsing although no longer in production. Which kit would be better. I'm interested in the greasable bushings which i know the delsing doesn't come with. Do those bushings really make life easier? I ask because I've owned the axr brackets great set up, but am looking at a desling kit now.

What about the P5? Do you think an upgrade mount is need? I plan on getting Tokico Illuminas, MSP bump stops, and Espelir springs.

It's a good idea to use MSP mounts if the suspension is upgraded.

You can get the mounts from KYB as well. I got those and so far after 20000km they're still going good.
