Well, it's not for my car, as I've done it, but I remember a thread long ago about soldering in a small diode resistor in one of the secondary O2 wires to trick the PCM into thinking that the cat's still there. I've done it to my car but it's been so long ago that I can't remember if it was the signal high or signal low wire. Please help.

Sad to say I actually did try but only searched in the forum search. I tried O2 resistor, O2 CEL, and some other ones. I guess I just didn't know how to word it right. Go me.

Also, since it's not on an MS3, is the diode soldered into the signal + or signal -? It's for a buddy's Accord.

You are probably going to need to go to a Honda user forum to make sure you are doing the mod correctly on that particular car. V-6, 4 banger, single or dual exhaust, how many cats, both primary and secondary cats, etc.? From what little I know and just spot checking it looks like most of them are using the double spark plug anti-fouler fix (one has to be opened up with a 1/2 inch drill and then stacked on top of the other, then screwed into the pipe with the sensor screwed into the one that is drilled out) rather than cutting the low band 02 sensor(s) wiring. There was a vendor selling a plug and play 02 diode sim product but I don't think it is being made now. Maybe I'm wrong. Check with the Honda boards.

Logic would suggest that the diode go on the positive voltage wire and would face or point as shown in the link I previously provided, but that may not be the way things work on the Honda. It would be better to get advice from Honda owners who have done the mod.
