Need help finding wheel covers for 18" OEM steel rims on CX-9

My dealer seems to be having trouble finding wheel covers that fit 18" OEM steel wheels. From what I've read, OEM means they are hub centric. He made a point of saying they are not "universal" steel wheels.

Anybody run into this problem ?

I am a parts manager at a Canadian Mazda dealer. I have been with Mazda for over 5 years. To the best of my knowledge Mazda does not make a 18" steel wheel. What you got was probably a hub centric aftermarket steel wheel. There will be no option from Mazda for a wheel cover. Sorry.

Hey, small world, I just bought my meteor grey cx-9 at your dealership. I'm going to pick up in a few weeks.

I specifically only remember the service manager saying they were not universal, leading me to think that they must be OEM hub centric.

Is there any chance the source of the 18" hub centric steel wheels would carry wheel covers ? I don't know where they were bought.
