Need help choosing new wheels!

Was looking at some wheels today. This is partly to answer the question but also partly a bookmark to see how my opinion would change over time as I don't plan to get these immediately. I admit I have been influenced by some of the photos I saw here with the black wheels with radial spokes. Looks nice with the sporty lines of the CX5. It definitely pulls off the stealth mode. I think the CX5 will also look nice with chrome wheels too, being a SUV, for the whole lux factor:

The one above comes in "Titanium" too - matte gun metal looking

Mweed,

If you'd like to go with quality Japanese wheels, I have some PIAAs 19x8 or 20x9 for sale. They are the Super Rozza model with a stunning Hyper Black finish and weigh 23 and 25 lbs. respectively. Here's a picture of the 19s on my CX and have not tried on the 20s yet. Waiting to get lowering springs before I try the 20s :D

Got these from authorized PIAA dealer at 50% off because PIAA quit making wheels since they cannot compete with the lower quality wheels flooding the market (confused)

I'd like to keep both sets, but gotta let go of one of them; hit me up if you're interested.

Thanks for all your input! I finally choosed to go wide, staggered (yes, with exactly the same rolling circumference). Got the wheels mounted yesterday and will post pictures as soon as possible. Wheels are Japan Racing JR3 19". 255/50/19 on 8,5 ET35 up front and 285/45/19 on 9,5 ET35 rear. Of course they are not flush! Next project is to fit the fender flares ordered, dilivery time sucks though, 3 weeks production/ 3weeks shipping + customs etc. I'm lucky if I have them fitted by end of June.

I`m very curious about the wheels.........

Yes, they are nice. To bad they don't make them in an ET that fits the CX-5. Their 19" 9,5 with highest available ET+30 is not a good idea. ET+35 is already a bit too much but the Rota Grids I ordered were out of stock. ET+40 would have been better.

Yes. Its a metric system, +35 gives 5mm (0,2") less backspace than +40. Therefore it will be 5mm further out.

Yes. According to swedish regulations the tire can exceed the width of the fender but only rim, sidewall and "tire shoulders". Theese stick out about 10mm more than that, all together 25mm on each side.

Found this picture not sure of size. But your two choices I pick the number one the mesh design always looks great but that is that is the only two choices would really need to see on the vehicle to decide.. Good luck.

Also cannot tell if these are similar.

Now this is a good look for the CX-5 but I also like the Zenetti multi-spoke. 22s rock but would be stolen same night in my part of Miami. 20s are old news and will still look good for the CX5.
