My son has a stock '03 Mazda 6 with the 4cyl 2.3l. I am thinking of getting him a CAI or SRI for Christmas.
There are threads upon threads upon threads here about intakes. Most seem to be about mazdaspeeds though.
I'm looking for some advice and experiences with these intakes.
It seems as though the CP-E intake with the controller seems to be the best one out there, but I'm not looking to spend $500.+ and I really don't want to cut and splice wires to hook up the controller.
I was looking at the K&N intake. That one can be set-up as either a CAI or SRI.
From what I've read, CAI/SRI are very prone to setting off CELs. I really don't want to spend my time chasing down CELs.
Which ones have you guys had good luck with?
