Can someone show me the crankshaft position sensor? How hard is it to get to?

How is this different from the CAS?

do I have to remove my valve cover to see this? I still don't get where it is, but I have an idea. It looks like there is a plastic cover that goes on the side of the engine under the valve cover. I think this has to be removed, but I can't mess with it right now becuase my engine is hot. How many screws hold it on, and am I in the right direction?

Please I need to check my CPS.

It's on the outside front of the block, just to the right of the crank pulley. It's a magnetic pickup, so unplug it, take it off, and wipe off any metal stuff sticking to it.

That photo's looking from the top side, but you'll almost certainly have to do this from underneath the car. You'll have to take the right front wheel off, and god knows what else!

Peas out.

OK thank you. I see it now. Can anyone tell me what exactly I will have to remove to get in there?

I dont think you will need to remove anything, its just a pita to get to I think. I will be checking mine hopefully thats my damn problem

ok I tried this its actually quite easy to do, just remove the bolts that hold the plastic piece under tha car on the passengar side. Jack the car up, turn the wheel all the way towards the pass side and boom the sensor is right there when you are looking in through by the pass tire. Super easy.

it did not fix my problem though :( idiling is still s*** lol
