Does anyone know where to find protege parts from a junkyard or a place that sell's used part's... basically I've got a 99 protege and I'm trying to upgrade, replace any parts I can to a 01, and up.... like the door mirrors upgraded to power the headlights, bumper, ect. ect.....

You are going to have to get a lot of parts to do this right.

You will basically need a whole front clip to do this.Hood ,fenders,lights.bumper ,grille.I am not sure if the core support is the same but i would hope so.I don't know what youre plans are but I think the older front end looks sweet if done right.2

Oh ,I think I can score you the mirrors BTW.I got two wrecked pros here locally in the bone yard.One is a 99 and the other is a 01 i think.They might just still have the mirrors.The front end is good on the 01 I do beleive as well.It got seriously rear ended!I will have to check next time I am there robbing it of parts.I was just there two days ago too.Damn it!

hell yea... do you think you could check into the mirrors and front end for me and maybe the climate control unit in the dash too??... oh btw do you remember what color the mirrors are??? I have a white car and would like to keep the same color mirrors (white)..... Thanks Alot.... I've looked all over the net trying to find some junkyard parts from an 01-03 and I've had no luck what so ever..

The car was blue or green i beleive.I dont remember which was which on the colors.I will see what they have next time i go by there.Maybe sometime ealry tis week.

look at mazda recyling.com you can loo at current inventory and cars for parts there.

Well i went and checked...The mirrors are the black plastic power mirrors....and they want $170 for the pair...They also have a good drivers fender...not sure how much though...no hood or bumper or pass. fender though.It was hit in the front end.It is a Green es I think.Let me know if you want something..I will get it for you and ship it to you .....
