NAVTEQ GPS customized routes? Possible like the new Garmin OS?

My car GPS (umm...Garmin 2957? I forget), and matching OS Garmin NAV5 for my BMW motorcycle both can import routes/tracks to make your own pre-planned trip. Does the Navteq have this ability through the SD card?
It's so nice to pre-plan a road trip using Furkot or perish the thought, Basecamp. On a bike, it's worth it, so you don't have to stop and make adjustments. I know in a car, it's easy...or let the passenger route the next day.
I guess for a roadtrip, I can always hotspot and bring a tablet.

Well yeah, like any GPS. But planning specific routes isn't streamlined like if you pre-plan on Furkot. Half the time the GPS won't take you the way you know you want to go, and just keeps saying "recalculating!" But I like the idea of pre-planning long routes (4-20 days) unless you want to stick ONLY with highways, or backroads. Meh, maybe one day they will update it.

I contacted NavTeq/Navigation/Here and they just responded with a "we don't do map updates, contact Mazda directly"
#fullfacepalm
WHAT?
Thanks for answering something completely unrelated to my questions.

From what I've found the NavTeq does not have the ability to import a route. You can create one on the HU, you can add waypoints, but I've yet to find a way to import/export routes/tracks.

I have a Garmin Montana, and love that feature, but I haven't yet seen an in-dash (OEM) system that has the same ability. When I'm heading off-road I just take the Montana with me, and use it until I get back to a road.
