Navigation into DVD system!!

Is there a way to get the navigation to play DVD's. It is a dvd navi system. My cuzin that sold me the car told me you can cut some wires and it will work. Does that sound right to any1? Has anyone tried it yet? We need to cheat the system ahahahah

Ive seen this and was actually wondering if anyone has tried it? Although its not a player of any sort it allows you to hook up a bunch of different things to it at once.

Its the "Navigation Switcher Video System" basicall it taps into your navigation audio and video and when you enable it you can switch between devices like DVD player, xbox, etc. and it will play through your monitor and car speakers. I have not done it personally, but someone has on mazda6 forums. It wont let me post links yet, so the thread title to search for is "IPOD VIDEO TO NAV SCREEN" or you can also search for AVElectronics and it will also show up. Let me know if you find anything else.

I want to do that so baddddly. Haha it will be sick, to bad i cant do it with the stock one and not spend any money

Cool Product , but for $550 , there has to a better option.
