Navigation Display Erratic

I have a new 2014 Mazda6 GT. When using navigation there are times where the map being displayed will jump 90degrees appearing to lose itself. It will also lose it's direction sometimes and speed. I have attached a video that demonstrates what is happening.

I saw this happen to my nav where the map rotates and the pointer loses track of direction. I will be taking to the dealership on next service interval.

I took mine to dealership today and they will be replacing NAV unit in about a week. I will let you know if that solves the issue.

Updating the nav software fixes this issue. I also installed a much newer faster SD card and copied things over to it from the OEM card, which helped the map update significantly faster. Goodlcuk

This happened to me after the dealer updated my Nav software. Here is the fix that worked for me. I think I found it on the Tom Tom site
1. Engine off.
2. Remove SD card.
3. Start Engine without SD card let system initialize fully.
4. Stop Engine.
5 Insert SD card.
6. Start Engine.

Mine's been doing this. Took to dealer and they updated nav software. Didn't fix. Still have to go back. Car's got about 31k miles. They better not give me that 'out of warranty' bull
