NA Dyno Ladder

Post your dyno results, and i'll maintain a ladder in this first post. Please attach a dyno graph and a picture if possible so we can all see. Detail some info about what you've done to achieve your power.

1. Xeldrex - 124hp, 124ft/lbs
2. Niky - 123.26hp, 120.63ft/lbs
3. o.g.sk8er - 116.5hp
4. ctt_1982 - 114.75hp

Ford Lynx RS 2.0. Asian/Australian spec 2.0 OBD-I FSDE (supposedly 142hp)

Dyno'd at Autoplus, Metro Manila, Philippines, on a Dynojet. Hell if I know what ambient temperature was, but it was hot, to say the least.

K&N Filter head, custom steel intake piping (stock MAF housing, though), custom heat shield box with cold air inlet.

Thunder Headers

No cat. Still passes local emissions, but I'd probably be crucified in California

2.5" midpipe, terribly ratty 2.5" resonator (that's since given up the ghost)

3" muffler

117.71 whp (three passes... best was 117.9, worst about 117.2, I think...)
115.23 ft.lbs.

Dyno'd previously on a Dynapack, but since nobody uses Dynapack, I just sucked it up and tried it on a Dynojet. Kinda pathetic...

-----

Re-dynoing tomorrow. Getting a different muffler and resonator and trying a stepped diameter exhaust set-up (2" to 2 1/4 to 2 3/8 to 2 1/2). I love cheap Filipino labor. :)

This was the last time the car was dynoed N/A.

Mustang Dyno

Racing Mazda 4-2-1 header/hi-flow cat/side exit exhaust
Injen CAI
Custom ports on head/intake mani
MP3 ECU
Fidanza Flywheel
RR UDP

The picture is a little blurry. The top line of the graph is 125HP. The final #'s were 124 whp, 124 wtq.

i have since added a l/w flywheel and microtech. i finally broke down and bought some overpriced sr camgears so i should have my twiggy cams installed soon(i hope). hoping to have it dyno tuned within a month so i can show off some better #'s

I'm a dumbass. Guess I got my money's worth when I bought a cheaply made muffler for my previous runs.

Had half my exhaust chucked out. It was a mix of TIG-welded mandrels, acetylene welds and backyard flanges. This dyno is with a new exhaust.

123.26 whp
120.63 ft lbs torque

(Average. Actually, it was still picking up power by the third run)

My previous exhaust was leaking in the wrong places and the muffler was pure ****. Hence, the 5 and a half horse bump. Dyno proof that you do get what you pay for.

I guess the Asian Lynx FSDE is MP3 level after all... d'oh.

My set-up is now:

K&N head, custom stainless steel tubing (stock diameter and MAF box), custom cold air box

Thunder Headers 4-1, 2" outlet (may change it in a few months if I can find better ones)

2 3/8" mid-pipe, 2 3/8" resonator

no cat (passed emissions last time, hope it still does)

2.5" cat-back (mandrel-bent, TIG welded), 2.5" muffler (all custom, brandless)

I just got my car back from Neetronics. I had just had an AEM IFC installed at Intense Motorsports in Barrie (GREAT SHOP!!) and Neetronics did the tuning (ALSO GREAT SHOP). I dynoed 142whp and I believe 137lb/f of torque. I don't have the slip it's still in my car but I will post as soon as I get some pics taken of it. My mods include:
Intake
Header
2.5" Custom exhaust w/ MS midpipe to a Racing beat muffler
UR underdrive pulley
Built NA motor w/ 11:1 comp, and FS-ZE internals

My MAF sensor was acting up at the dyno shop so they couldn't fully tune the timing back so once I get that fixed Andy said there should be more power out of the motor. I'm hoping for 150whp! I'll post the slip as soon as pics are taken.

Some nice numbers coming up there guys - I'm going to have to insist on scans of your dyno print outs before they go on the ladder though - only fair, stops the fishing stories :P

Here's mine...

Mods:
AWR Header
Magna Flo cat-back
Ingen CAI
JDM Sport 20 flywheel

Since then I have installed an MP3 ecu, MAM midpipe, and UR underdrive pulley.

Still have cats? Great numbers for that.

@xelderx: My AF ratio is pretty bad, too... should we post those as well?

These #'s can easily be beat by the guys running standalone ECUs. Where y'all at?

waiting till tuesday to get the twiggy cams/gears installed and a dyno tune that evening. i'm only booked for 3 hours of tuning so i'm not expecting miracles here.
