NA camshaft compatibility with MA, VB, etc.

I am in the process of repairing a 1980 626 1.6l engine. The engine is NA series. The camshaft looks to be chipped at the top of a lobe. Can I fit a cam off an MA series engine into it, or should I look at having the cam repaired? I currently reside in Europe, so the two options are to either replace with an MA cam or repair the chipped NA cam.
