This is not for a lack of searching (trust me I have).

Actually that's why I asked as well... the 2.0 L has a compression ratio of: 10,8:1
Is that 10.8:1?? (the coma is pissing me off I read that from the wikipedia site).
 
This thread is a good place for my question that I cannot seem to find the answer to...

Does the DISI MS3 motor have a timing belt or timing chain?
 
it might be a typo or not, in most countries not counting the us
10,8 = 10 8/10 and 1.000 = 1k so u might get european magazines or sites that might have 10,8:1 compression and it's what we here would call 10.8 :1
 
I will correct.. taken from the Mazda site.. the regular 2.0 L runs at a 10.0:1 Compression ratio .... not 10.8:1
