nice. didnt know that tamiya made rc's...i just thought they made models with zero detail under the hood.

really ? tamiya has a big fan base...i've seen a lot of modded TT-01s. they're like the cheapest kits to start with and they hold up pretty well

people have said they are overbuilt and i agree. i have 2 TT-01s. ones for my little brother to race against me and the other for me to hop-up. im hoping to get a TT-02 someday but i might just save the money for more hop-ups. that or an xmod.

xmods r too small, they lose control too easily

yea but they're easily affordable. i paid 200 for my integra when it was new, i guess thats not that much but if you think about it that could of probably got me a dgm grill + paint. and the hop-ups costed a pretty penny. but im sure many of you out there have spent more on their xmods.
