Your solution looks good. I have the same prob with the headlight gap, but how long are hand towels gonna last?!? Won't they eventually become moldy and rot? There's gotta be another way....

i just needed to see if the body kit was even meant to be up that high, and it IS... it just needs somthing to rest on... i need to fabricate somthing to suport it... and it will work oh yes it will...

Find some of that foam insert stuff found around the frame when you removed the factory bumper. Then cut what you need....

another suggestion you might give a try is to go to a flower shop or somthing similar, and get some floral foam. its real soft, and you can put a big chunk in thee and mush it down where you want it and it will hold. it was a simple solution that cost under 5 bucks! they might even give it to ya. but mine wasnt as bad as yours. car looks good man.
good luck. post more pics when dropped.

My kits got a gap too but just on the one side. Drives me insane. Its glass though so I cant really do much about it. I think you can see it in my avatar...

almost looks like it is slightly raised by the corner of the light closest to the grill??? that's why my shop cut a chunk out of the kit, so that when it was at the proper level there wouldn't be extra material to bunch up....
