My winter setup: 17x7" Ford Fusion wheels with Dunlop Wintersport M3s

Got some proper snowshoes on last weekend (driving for 3 weeks on the stock "hockey pucks" in freezing temps/occasional snowfall was MORE than long enough) and decided I'd take a few pics after getting it all cleaned up and changing the oil this weekend.

I got the wheels and tires (Ford Fusion 17x7" et44 alloys with 215/50R17 Dunlop Wintersport M3s) on Ebay for a killer price ($400). The only catch was that I had to drive 2 hours to meet the guy to get them - in lake effect snow when the temperature was so low that the salt wasn't working...

We met at a Pep Boys so I could have them thrown on then and there. There was no way I was driving back on the stock rubber!

Anyway, here are some (merely adequate) pics!

I can't wait until the weather gets better and I have a chance to get some GOOD pictures of this thing up. Until then, these will have to do. ;)

Yes, the hub bore is a 3-friendly 67.1 mm.

The guy I bought them from had gotten them last season for his MS6, but he got rid of the car last summer (got an A4 as a company car and it didn't make sense for him to pay for and license a car he never drove) and no longer needed them. He easily had twice as much $$ in the setup as he sold it to me for. Gotta love Ebay! :)

Offset and everything looks to be a good match. I guess you couldn't use the center caps now could you. Maybe just paint them silver and put them on?

The centercaps weren't included in the deal. I don't think the previous owner had ever even had them. He bought the wheels used from some guy in Ohio last winter.

I've got the same setup on my car for winter. I got them off ebay without the centers. I used them for my first winter without center caps. Last summer I found some chrome centers without a ford logo (also on ebay). I am starting to like these ford wheels better than the OEMs. The stance is more aggressive and there is more rubber on the road.
