My wife will be picking up a new 2005 Hyundai Tiburon SE V6 tomorrow morning! (thumb)

We were trying to get her into an 05 SRT4 but those bastards wouldnt budge below $21,500, they think its the greatest car in the world......(thats with NO viper seats, and NO Kicker system) and thats several dealerships, so I said screw Dodge. We decided to stop by Hyundai because we saw a yellow tiburon that looked pretty clean from the freeway :D Yellow Rules BTW ........... Found us a Sterling Silver SE V6 Tiburon with some goodies and decided it was best for her...........and me of course (shady) They were asking $21,995 + TT&L......but got them down to $18k + TT&L (smoke)

......made sure she got the SE Version cause they only come in the 6-speed tranny and Kenwood MP3 player (wiggle) . Ill take some pics of her saturday when i get off of work, so for now heres a pic i found on the web......

.......pretty much what it looks like, but with a higher spoiler......the one shown is the GS & GT version.

Let me know what you think, give me your opinions? I'd like to know what the board has to say.....

Personally I love the styling. Can't go wrong with Pininfarina-based design. Some folks say that the car is too heavy given the motor, but if your wife isn't a speed demon[ess] then she won't care/notice.

Congrats on your new acquisition!

Thanx, i appreciate it......

She's already talking about a Supercharger (headshake

....i told her to wait and see how the car holds up, and let me do some research on the car first.

It sure looks a lot like the new Mitsubishi Eclipse. With 175 stock horsepower in the Tiburon, a few slight mods and you're well over 200 horses, you'll be blowing by those clowns in the scions.

I prefer married women to drive minivans though, I always keep an eye out for minivans when I'm driving around. Sports cars are nice, but it's hotter to see married women driving those minivans with the flip-down LCD roof-monitor for the kids in back and the power sliding side-door, I can spot those minivan moms a mile away. Should be nice! My wife's friend has a couple Hyundai in their family, although not the Tiburon, but they really like them and have had no problems with them.

Thats good to hear :D

I've always like the Tiburon. Be sure to let us know how it is after you get her broken in!

The exterior styling is dead on. However, I just couldn't get comfortable with the interior. I'm 6'3".

i thought you guys were going to get another speed so that yall will have two. but i do think those tiburons do look nice.
