My Turbo Project

How much for the Microtech? Why are you ridding of it?

cash/forged internals

i mean the microtech would be a good idea but i think he has the right idea to head in the direction of forged internals since it will be better for longevity and reaching higher power levels. Plus when we get the mega skeet up and running on a couple cars it will be a more cost effective choice

Mega skeet FTW.

If anyone's looking for high quality forged internals (used in the ARC race cars) , Chet at Sunbelt Performance Motors has several sets left over...

I got a kickass deal for the Quaife from him so I figure that these might be a steal also.
As far as what kind : I dont remember the specifics.
Size : stock length

I can get his contact info whenever I get back if anyone's interested.

$1000 for the Microtech. I have someone that's willing to put a deposit on it already.

Why? I'm needing the cash.

Eh.. I was wanting to go with Microtech since no one knows how to tune the MPI.
But I'll probally try the mpi first... and keep my BEGI RRFPR + FM voltage clamp as back-up when I get around to installing my sleeper kit.

i saw this in another thread:

what do you think? too rice? I'm sure that exhaust will get plenty hot.

Sorry.

"It's ungodly rice..... On a scale from 1 to 10...10 definitely. VW should start making commercials about it."
-My brother

as long as it's not the exhaust piece itself, I don't think it's rice.
Hell, it serves a purpose. I know a bunch of rx-7 guys that have lit their bumpers on fire...

Joel HAD to put that on his car because he was melting the bumper. Are you melting your bumper?

right now, it's spaced enough where it's not rubbing, but I'll be adding a lower valance cover. It's made of fiberglass. When I had it before, the old exhaust didn't melt much, but with the turbo I'm guessing it's gonna get hotter.

You should have it around the 2nd week or so turbo luke. Hopefully your car doesn't start melting...haha.(shocked)

i havent had a problem with my side skirt yet with all the flame and heat its been putting out and i never had a problem with the CS which almost sat on the rear skirt

as long as the tip itself doesnt come short and point literally at some plastic you should be fine.

I've had my CS on for over 2 years...no melting, just some charring from the heat/rich exhaust...

I have the corksport exhaust and fixed it to where it doesn't come close at all to the melting ANYTHING.

I'll take some pics later when I go back to the shop and find a digicam again..
But basically just use some clamps on the bushings to manipulate them. Could do it for everyone for like I dunno 5 bucks maybe ..just enuf to pay for clamps.

But yea it doesn't hurt anything and works perfect. I melted my rear valence a little and finally got pissed off and fixed it..took maybe 2 minutes over the pit and I think 3 clamps.
