My suit and shoes are here!

I am so excited, everything is coming together well.

I am taking a race school at the local road racing track (www.atlanticmotorsportpark.com) at the end of the month. I now have my fire suit and driving shoes.

My fire suit is PINK! and the shoes are blue. Gloves are on the way, I have my nomex underwear, and now I need my balaclava.

Psyched!

Haha I will get some pics when my gloves get here next week, and I get my shoes back from the cobbler. They had to be stretched a little because they're made narrow and I have wide feet.

Where'd you get your suit at? I have a pink/charcoal/grey helmet and that would rock with a pink firesuit if I decide to step over into the road racing arena.

I got the firesuit from Leaf Racewear. (www.leafracewear.com).

It's also completely custom tailored, because even my boyfriend's men's suit wouldn't fit over my hips and chest, so we took all my measurements and my suit fits SOOOOO well.

Holy cow. I just designed my own suit to the tune of $887.00 american. But it sure looks sweet!

Mine was custom tailored, style B, Box quilting (whole suit), and it was about $659 CDN.

I got my shoes from Leaf Racewear as well. But where you're in the U.S., Simpson has a good deal on right now. Get the "Accelerator" style, they're awesome.

Shoes are back from the cobbler and they feel awesome.

I have wide feet so she had to stretch them to make them comfortable.
