My Sub-woofer blow!!

I bought my car in July and I loved my sound system until it blew. So i went to the mazda dealer and they were supposed to order it. I still havent gotten my dag-on woofer. what the hell!!:'( :'(

I test drove an MSP, and the subwoofer popped and distorted on some really easy hip hop. And I didn't even really turn it up. So no big loss. Get a better one

But, about the dealer. The squeaky wheel gets the grease. Don't just call them. Show up at their parts/service department every day till you have your speaker.

i would be in the dealer every day til it was fixed, im goin nect weekend to get my rotor hats repainted and other tsb's checked out....i would leave til its all done.....

The story on the sub is that Mazda America is back ordered on the sub. So, they have to order them from Kenwood, who then has to make them, send them to Mazda who then has to distribute them to the dealers requesting them. Since a lot of the subs have been having problems, I am guessing there is a pretty long line. Sorry, I don't mean to be the bearer of bad news, I'm just going on what I have heard from others. These guys are right though. Be a pain in the ass to the dealer. They owe you that damn sub. I'm thinking about getting an aftermarket one and selling my Kenwood to someone in need, but I don't know how soon that will be.

The wait continues....blew in September....FINALLY ordered in OCT
still waiting DEC 13... MAJOR back order in US supposed to finally be here next week jus in time fer Xmas

If you've been waiting for 3 months, shouldn't you be entitled to compensation, legally?

I just know I'd be pissed as hell if it happened to me.

i wouldnt wait that long quietly, my sub is still workin good but i know ill be there the min it blows.....either give me cash to buy a sftermarket or give me my facotry one......ill be callin everyday until i get it......thats whats warrenty is for

Mine F'd up in less than 24 hrs of me buying my MSP. It was shorting out or something. Took about 3 weeks to get the new one from Kenwood.

After getting it back it sounds sweet. In fact I will have to turn down the amp some. Its almost too strong. Well my wife says it is anyhow. LOL!

mine blew in may i went up to the dealers and had to wait 4 months for them to replace it... but i try to keep the car away from there as much as possible, boost controler and turbotimer might cause me to lose my warranty, if i havent already done so..

btw if you lose your warranty do they tell you when you lose it or when you bring it in after something bad happens and they laugh in your face?

You "warranty got taken away" people need to read up on the federal laws regarding automotive warranties and check into SEMA.
