My rim paint is coming off!

Hey guys, I still have the original rims on the car and just recently I got a bit of curb rash on one of the "arms" of the rim and now the rim paint is coming off all over the rim.

Do you guys have any recommendations on what to repaint it with, or what to stop the paint from peeling any further?

Common problem with the MP3 racing harts. I have huge paint chips though I do have 170,000kms on her.

I just took off the rest of the paint and repainted mine gunmetal.

I just went to an automotive shop down the road that refinishes aluminum wheels. they came out nice. I don't know an estimate for the price because I knew the guy

Wow, I didn't realize everyone else had this prob too. I just got my MP3 back in Jan and the rims look horrible. My friend just started at a rim repair shop and said he'd do mine for free. He said though, that if you were to have the rims repaired (smoothing out the curb rash) and paited, it usually goes for $80-$125 per wheel. That all depends on extent of damage, and color of paint.
