2001 Honda Prelude Type SH

Some of you guys said you want to see pics of my other car... so here it goes. I uploaded a lot of pics from before.. so I'll show pics of my car stock, near stock, and now. It's been a long journey...

The next few pics were taken up on Mt Hamilton - similar to Highway9, except it's much more dangerous and a way longer drive..

I pulled off a 3 wheelie:

Looks like I have to break this in a couple of sections because there's a limit on how many pics I can put on one page.

Recent pics of my Lude:

Since the last pic, I've gotten new body kit and no more CF hood. I also picked up a set of HIDs.

And if you mess with me, then don't ever plan to drive in front of my again.. unless you want to get blinded by my Philips Ultinon 6000k HIDs:

I MUST live in SF? Why is that? Can't I live elsewhere with this Lude..?

why would you want to-- enjoy driving those hills.. it must be a blast in a stick!!

I love the Preludes... I got rid of mine (1988 Prelude Si) when I got my Protege5 (which I have since gotten rid of due to issues, so I got my 6S). I absolutely loved driving that car. I wish I would've kept it as a second car. That damn thing had almost 175,000 miles, and would still beat alot of other cars. It was originally owned by an old couple that used it to drive back and forth from Florida during their retirement. I miss it... :(

BTW, your's looks freakin' lovely. :)

I have been considering getting another one, a 4th Gen like yours... HMMMM, the possibilities...

Thanks guys, I've received nothing but love here.

<-- 5th gen ; not 4th gen :)

fkmp5 - Must be a blast in a stick? But isn't your car a stick as well? I see that you have a GReddy knob in your sig. :D

jonnydoe48 - How can you tell I live in SF just by looking at the settings? There were only a few pics by the Marina.

For the rest of you, I'm really looking foward to join you guys up Highway 9..

^^ not too many cities have their own Alcatraz ^^

I spent 6 months in SF . . . beautiful place

I miss my lude, until I get in and drive my 2003.5 speed :)

j/k. Damn fine cars. Owned 3. Last one was a 97, see WWW button, and check past cars folder.

Those things can f'n move when you know how to drive it right. And their handling was near flawless for stock car and wasn't harsh at all.

...still miss those heated seats though.

Your car is wild. Nice and clean, tastefully done. Makes me want my old one back.

I love to see other preludes out there, and your's looks freekin' sweet!!!!!!! Have you ever checked out preludepower.com?????? It always great to have more prelude enthusists join up.

There were MANY reasons, but one of them was because I didn't want water slipping into engine bay since I have HIDs in there; the ballasts must remain dry. The CF hood allowed too much space between the hood and the fender itself, so a lot of s*** gets in there.

Bad Juju - I registered on the site a while ago, but the site seems a bit slow, so I never bothered to check back.

newf - Yes.. the Lude is very fast aroud the turns if driven correctly. I have the SH model...... hehee.
