These photos do the Furai no justice. The thin blue and red filaments in the front, side, and rear make it look like it's alien and alive. :cool:

Was the Mazda "booth" attracting a lot of attention? The Furai looks so well crafted...great close-up shots!

The CTS & Solstice coupe look super sweet...Nice work, GM! :D

Lots of people at the Mazda booth. A lot of people checking out the CX-9. The Furai display is packed. You don't know how much elbow shoving I had to do to get those photos. The RX-8 is just mobbed. All in all, a good showing for Mazda.

I uploaded about two dozen more photos. I still got a lot of photos of the Challenger, GT-R, Maxima, Saleen, Aston Martin, Lamborghini, etc. to process so stay tuned for updates.

Great photos, especially from a P&S camera.

The mesh grille on the Audi R8 is hideous :(
 
the new Subi looks very similar to the MS3, doesn't it?

i think they're just jealous....haha

(i love that you took a pic of just the car girl, classic! a hottie too)

Looks like a small vehicle but it'll be equipped with a typical Saleen engine packing 500-600+ hp.
 
Yes, that's the Saleen S55 Raptor concept. It is indeed small - about the size of a 360 Modena by my guesstimation.

By the numbers:

Engine: supercharged 5.0L V8
Horsepower: 650hp at 6300 rpm
Torque: 630 ft lb @ 4400 rpm
0-60 mph: 3.2 sec
Top speed: over 200 mph

so i'm still trying to find the job of test driving new concept cars that are developed, but i think that dream might be too far fetched...

I was surprised to have a change of heart with regard to the Maxima styling. I came to the show really wanting to laugh at it, but it wasn't bad-looking in person. The styling is as if a Scion TC grew two doors, matured, graduated from college, got a career started, and is looking to pursue an MBA while taking care of its family.

Now THAT'S a freakin car show. I feel so jipped (Ft Worth Car Show was LAAAAME compared to this) Thanks for posting!

Was the Camaro there?
