It's an 06 Birel Rx32 chassis with a 125 cc Parilla Leopard on it. Bought it 2 weeks ago and finally got to drive it last weekend at the local kart track. it's my first time in anything like this and i'm 2 seconds from the track record. such a blast!!! any fellow karters on the forums???

here's some pictures and a video of one lap around the track:

nice. about 10 years ago i had the chance to ride one of my cousin's karts. he had a few (he was a champion gokart racer in the philippines) so he let me take his "slow" one for a spin. needless to say, i somehow siezed the engine going about 55mph, did a 720 and almost crapped my pants.

i'm hoping i won't have any motor issues for quite awhile... this one's only got about 4 hours on it, so it's almost brand new.. i bet spinning out at 55 is a little iffy :) i spun a couple of times, but only under braking.

that looks like a lot of fun....where did you order it from?

i actually bought this one from a local karting shop. i was planning on buying one used over the internet, but i got lucky and stumbled upon this one. it was an awesome deal and in the area, so i couldn't pass it up. there's lots of good info on www.ekartingnews.com. they have a forum and everything on there...

cool..i will check that site out. Thanks.

the boyfriend was pretty disappointed that he wouldn't fit. but, he's building his own shifter kart so he'll be able to go out there soon...

Wow, that looks so fun. I would like to get my boy involved, but I just can't see spending that much for a go cart. I've seen them from 2k-7k.
But then I never thought I would spend that much on a bicycle either.

I want a kart soooooooooooooooooo bad. I would love to drift a kart or just haul ass up and down my neighborhood.

That looks like so much fun! :D

it is!!! it's so freakin quick... i was pretty amazed at just how fast it is... and the grip is ridiculous... i ran about 175 laps last weekend and by the end of it my neck muscles were so sore i couldn't hold my head up through the corners.. through the faster ones it's probably pulling about 2.5 g's. my entire back and every muscle in my arms are super sore too.. awesome work out. screw the gym!
