With the primary cat gone in your header install, how did you deal with the O2 sensors? I would think that you'd need to move the secondary sensor aft of the second (now the only) cat to avoid CEL's, right? Or did you come up with a different solution?

You're right , after the hardware provided with the header (extensions and bongs), just did that friday evening and have not had a CE light since friday , I am waiting to have no issues to post it. Autocrossed yesterday, no problems, will drive around today and see.

Very happy about the light to go off finally ! If the issue doesn't come back I will see how many people are interested .

Car is amazing even with the cheaper suspension. Paxed first yesterday again yesterday against National level autocrossers.

I experienced the header myself and it combined with an intake and an exhaust it felt much faster than stock. Good stuff!

Headers + Full esxhust with new Magnaflow muffler Sound clip

I had to replace the cheap muffler with a nice Magnaflow. Sound is very nice and quiet in the cabin:

it doesnt roar\resinate in the cabin to annoying levels at 3k rpm (highway speed)? If not throw me the model # ;-)

This sounds good, it seems fairly loud, but it is what you would expect from a header and straight exhaust to the muffler, by the way this muffler definitely sounds nicer when compared to previous one. Looks good too!

Dyno day , Great results !!

First of all I have to thank Rodrigo (Font Motorsports) for helping me with this. Since I changed Dyno (to a Mustang dyno from Dynojet) last time, that disqualified my previous data on the Dynojet. I had to start with a fairly stock Mazda 2 (Rodrigo's) vs mine fully prepped no tuning yet.

1-Rodrigo's car had my intake already in for two weeks nothing else. He got very good numbers:

106 HP and 101 Lbs. of Torque

2 My car with my second gen intake and Magnaflow Muffler replaced from previous time.

114 HP and 112 Lbs. of Torque

My last vs. Rodrigo's:

Conclusion:

An approximate gain 8 HP and 11 Lbs. of Torque from headers and full custom exhaust, I say approximate because we used two different cars.

You're right I am working on something that doesn't look so "Home made" according to Rodrigo. Hey 6-7 HP isn't bad from a Home made looking intake
