Welcome from fellow A3E owner. Any idea on your suspension set-up as the car is def. not stock height.

um... i have no idea, i haven't even looked under it i just thought they were all about that height, shows how much i know lol

lol the power difference would made me sad. i went from an h22 swapped accord to this car and miss the power. but something about this car makes me smile....something the honda never did

i do miss the power and the kick of vtec but i love the hatch i have been missing it since i sold my ls swapped 90 si so i am glad to have a hatch again, i think i might turbo it to get some sort of power out of the car since it is lacking majorly

lol you still wouldnt have much power even if turboed. it is a nice car though. how is that dash on the civic though? every time i see it i die a little inside. maybe its different when you actually inside driving the car?

Once honda guy here myself die hard also. But between ppl trying to steal it and lack of sleep I said the hell with it and got a P5 and the lil thing is starting to grow on me like stated before it's something about these cars that draw you right in.*~`P5 Love`~*(alright) Oh and welcome.

thanks guys yeah i do really enjoy the car even though it is slow, any open ideas on how to get some reall power out of them?

Well Im boosting mine shooting for 200hp.Thats all I need I daily drive it so boost should make it alil more fun.

thats why i said power with this car is just never gonna happen. 200hp just isnt enough. although it would make this car very very fun

either get the Mazdaspeed turbo setup, or, get the 626 V6 swap

any other bolt ons ot the stock 2.0 motor is only good for 15 hp combined

oh, and WELCOME!!

200hp is enough for me :P lol plus my girlfriend wants to learn how to drive 5 speed in this car lol should be fun..

Pretty soon you're gonna tell her that she can't drive her car anymore because you're still putting aftermarket parts on it. Then you just won't want to get back in your Civic because EVERYONE and their Uncle's dog has one.
I am not hating Civics. Their good transportation. But it just became too popular like the Mustangs and soon to be Camaros so that just turns me away.
Funny story:
When purchasing my car from the dealership (used) the salesman tried to sell me a Civic LX 4-door in gold paint. I said no and opted for the P5. I know I made the right decision. Then a Rabbi walks into a bar and says "pass me a beernuts" and the Catholic Priest says "Do you want one with or without the Skin?"

LX's suck anyways haha

Yes, owning a P5 is an awsome experience. You don't need to make a it 'loud' or "ricey," like a Honda, to distinguish it from the other thousand Hondas beside you. Driving the unique car shows you're not just following the crowds. You have an opinion of your own and style unlike the drones which flock to the same thing over and over. Obviously Honda's rep is excellent for reliability and performance, but when it comes to expressing your unique taste and individuality, their mass quantities just aren't suitable. If we all wore the same thing, how could we set apart our attire character from everyone else? The P5 however is a great looking car, has above-average reliablility, is a blast around corners, and is quite rare. Whoever chose the P5 saw a gem in the shadows, where its luster could not shine. While others ran to the "everybody car" P5 owners found a jewel.
